This past weekend we went camping out at Mustang Park near Benbrook, TX.  We took our grand daughter with us and she ended up catching her first fish and actually she caught four fish total.  She learned how to put a worm on her own hook and how to take her fish off the hook.  We don't fish to keep.....we catch and release.  I do believe she enjoyed herself this weekend.

We were quite shocked as to how the lake looked because we went and camped in June of this year and the water was just wonderful as you can see of the picture above with our dog sitting on a rock.

This is what the lake looks like now.  We had to walk down to the edge of the water just to fish.  It is a good 250 feet down.  Our drauhgt really did this lake in but I know of other lakes that are worse or gone.

All in all we did still have fun together.
